The multifaceted world of Content and Level Limit Detection
The demand for each of our workshops is to present proven and new measurement devices and sensor technologies with a clear structure and the highest possible practical relevance.
This summer UWT was organizing several workshops for plant operators and machine manufacturers of different industries such as food sector, chemicals and synthetics. The key issue was about:
“How to measure solid level with various sensors in silos and material manufacturing processes”.
Thus a workshop for a well-known OEM who is acting globally in several branches, was organized in the company’s training center. There the experienced product management of UWT showed the level measurement portfolio and how it works under various process conditions. So the proven measurement methods of content and point level detection of different bulk materials have been brought closer to the interested participants:
Continuous content level measurement:
- Electromechanical lot system
- Non-contact radar sensor
Point level detection:
- Rotation principle
- Vibration principle
- Capacitive principle
- Conductive principle
Of course the further consideration of the latest sensors of the UWT product family could not miss:
The innovative radar sensor NivoRadar® NR 3000
and the compact vibrating rod probe Mononivo® MN 4000.
By comparing different measuring methods and sensor technologies, individual solutions for various material processing applications could be exemplified. Further the silo management and visualization systems for level monitoring based on example plants with storage silos could also be tested in a realistic scenario. Since the company equips plants around the globe, the Zone approvals were another interesting subject for the participants.
The feedback from the workshop was very positive: “With the various sensor models it was a very exciting training and a great opportunity to get hands-on with the technology.” Therefore it offered the perfect communication platform for knowledge transfer and experience exchange.
Our sales team is looking forward to organize also your In-company Workshop.
