RFnivo in malt adding process
The largest Peruvian brewery found it difficult in the process of adding malt in the water, as the grain after wetting became very sticky generating false alarms on all vibratory level sensors. As it comes to consumption, the solution must comply with food grade. Preferably stainless steel and supports 70ºC from the cleaning process (CIP), based on sodium hypochlorite.
Our solution in this case was the RFnivo 8100 series radio frequency level switch sensor, which has integrated "Active Shield" system, being able to tolerate material build-up on the probe. The probe's 250mm extension is made of PFA-covered 316L stainless steel rod version, PEEK insulating parts and FKM seals are the ideal for resist the aggressive high-temperature cleaning process, since it is designed to operate at maximum process temperature of 85°C, or 200°C. higher version.
